Spring has arrived in Rutherford, filling the air with anticipation for the dawn of vintage 2024. As nature awakens, both canine companions and humans alike revel in the changing seasons. Our winemaker, Sara, and her team have been hard at work in the cellar, meticulously crafting wines in preparation for bottling, starting with the exquisite 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, which tastes absolutely fabulous!

In response to your valuable feedback to our recent survey of club members, we are pleased to announce the introduction of flat-rate shipping for your quarterly wine club deliveries. With immediate effect, you’ll enjoy new savings with this shipment! For our members in California, shipping is now a flat rate of $15, while those residing in all other states will benefit from a flat rate of $20 for both 4 and 8 bottle shipments.

And here’s something fresh for PEJU enthusiasts: get ready for our Inaugural Wine Club Pizza Challenge, scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd in Rutherford. Stay tuned for more details of this interactive cooking experience! Plus, we’ve adjusted the spring pickup to Saturday, May 18th at PEJU Calmére Estate.

As temperatures rise, we’ll be opening our patio for outdoor seating, inviting you to enjoy our wines in the sunshine amidst our captivating artwork and gardens. Originally from France’s Bordeaux region, Petit Verdot boasts deep violet color and firm tannins. This vintage is a blend of 76% Petit Verdot and 24% Cabernet Sauvignon. Due to the wine’s pronounced structure, it pairs best with heavier foods with plenty of protein and fat such as Stilton cheese, roast rack of lamb, game, and meat stews.
