Explore the tasting that changed Napa Valley forever! Once set in our founders Tony & HB Peju’s famous Rutherford garage, the Original Counter Tasting is now hosted in our elegant ‘Uluru Room’ renowned for its stunning granite floors and counters and distinctive ‘umbrella’ chandeliers.
This fun, 45-minute, presentation style tasting, brings guests together in our unique stand-up counter experience – just like Tony & HB poured four decades ago. You will enjoy four classic PEJU wines and in celebration of our 40th anniversary, we’ve priced this PEJU experience at only $40!

"Lovely winery! I've had Peju wine a few times but this was my first time booking a tasting. We booked it a little last minute so there was only the standing tasting left. The service was wonderful, we were greeted with a nice rose when we checked in before our tasting started and got generous pours and got to try additional wines. The location was also really nice to walk around."

"Peju was our favorite winery/tasting experience - it was a small tasting room and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their wine. Possibly because this was the first wine stop we made of the entire weekend, but I loved how quiet it was and didn't feel commercialized/overrun with tourists."

A luscious Chardonnay, this wine presents a mouthwatering bouquet of panna cotta, lemon curd, and lime zest. Combined nuances of honey crisp apple, butterscotch, and minerality create a round and elegant palate.

Province is a Peju fan-favorite year after year. Served chilled, this deep ruby wine emits a gorgeous floral bouquet enticing the nose with aromas of herbs, violets, nutmeg, and tart plum. Plush tannins give Province structure while bright acidity refreshes the palate with flavors of cranberry, ripe raspberry, and Queen Anne cherry.

This wine is full of elegance and grace. The smooth round entry is filled with a mosaic of fruit and spice notes, displaying flavors of dark cherry, brambleberry, dried savory herbs, allspice, and vanilla. Complete with complex layers and structured tannins, the finish is gorgeous.
