Due to seasonal light rain in April and warmer temperatures in May, the Peju organic vegetable garden has seen tremendous growth. Three weeks ago, Chef Alex planted seeds and now, in mid-May, the garden is in full bloom. During a stroll through the garden, you will notice that Peju grows vegetables ranging from fresh basil and thyme to kale and swiss chard. When the produce is ready, Chef Alex enjoys bringing the fruits of his labor into the Peju kitchen and preparing fresh, gourmet meals to pair with our wines.
Guests can also enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience in the garden with Chef Alex during the Peju Interactive Experience Culinaire. Over the course of this three hour adventure, Chef Alex gives guests a private tour of Peju's beautiful estate garden to harvest vegetables and use them to help prepare a "farm to table" meal.
