This week, we received excellent news that our 2012 Zinfandel earned 90 points from Wine Spectator! This review comes on the heels of our first week of 2015 harvest and serves as an excellent reminder of why we love making wine!
Wine Spectator describes the Zindfandel as, "Rich, focused and fairly ripe, with appealing black cherry and boysenberry fruit flavors accented by notes of cracked pepper, smoky sage and licorice. Drink now through 2022."
Our 2012 Napa Valley Zinfandel pairs well with Italian food, like pizza and spaghetti and meatballs, and smoky barbecue, like ribs and steak.
